Stardex Product Update #19 - in-app AI assistant, company insights, scorecards

HerMay was all about helping teams get more value from the information already inside Stardex. We launched Ask Dex, our new in-app AI assistant, added AI-powered company insights, introduced structured scorecards, and made it easier to bring LinkedIn applicants straight into your workflow. We also shipped reusable templates and a bunch of smaller improvements across outreach, sharing, records, and team workflows.
Here’s what we shipped in May.e's what we shipped in May:
Ask Dex - In-app AI assistant

There's now an assistant called “Ask Dex” in the bottom-right of every page! It already knows what you're looking at, whether it’s a candidate, a job, or a company, so you can ask things like "what's the latest on this candidate" or "summarize where this search stands" without setting up any context. It's early, so tell us where it helps and where it gets in the way.
AI Company Insights

Search firms build up a ton of insider knowledge about companies, who's actually leaving, what the culture is really like, who the real decision makers are, but it ends up buried across hundreds of notes and calls across dozens of candidates. Company Insights pulls that out and shows it on the company, sorted into financials, funding, team, and culture. The culture, growth story, and internal-politics signal is the part we care most about, since that's exactly what you can't get from a data provider.
Scorecards
Interview feedback usually ends up scattered across notes in everyone's own format. You can now build scorecard templates with your own criteria and rating scales, then score candidates against them, so feedback from your team is consistent and easy to compare. Scores show up right on the candidate’s profile and in the list of candidates in a job too.
LinkedIn Job Application Integration
You can now get LinkedIn job application responses syncing directly into Stardex! Generate an email address for a job in Stardex and use it as the Linkedin job forwarding address, you’ll start seeing candidates seamlessly populate into Stardex. It’s on our roadmap to evaluate the candidates for you as well!
Templates
You can now create reusable templates in two spots: outreach emails, and the summaries our notetaker writes up from calls and meetings. The summary templates are the part worth trying, you can shape them to match how your firm actually writes up a call instead of using our default format.
Quality of Life:
New
{{search_name}}and{{client_name}}email variables, and we'll stop you from sending while a variable is still unfilled.Custom record types let you define your own document types and company activity types to match how your firm works.
Client-visible notes can be included as a section when you share candidates.
Deal amounts now support multiple currencies if you bill clients in different ones.
People and companies lists load faster now, especially for firms with large databases.
Smaller touches: "Add to List" from a company's detail page, an Owner column on the Active Candidates list, and a "Copy Record ID" action in the command menu.
Your team gets notified when someone applies to a public job posting, and org admins get an email when a new teammate joins.
